Time

Time is like a flame
That burns the candle of life
Melting past away with pride
Seconds tick, tick, tick and pass
The sun rises and sets
Time at its best

The candle of life becomes shorter
I believe it burns time out
No more extra time
What should I do
Can I stop it ?

If I can't stop my candle
From melting and watering away
I must then face the reality
My candle is precious
Let me make use of it effectively
Before it burns away
I know it is irreversible .

My dream

My dream is somewhat too ambitious It may be as hard to achieve As dealing with a kite in a windy day It could be smooth to achieve Like breathing fresh air in the suburb If vision and determination is charged

My dream is for a charismatic leader
Born with vision and mission
Strong and fearless
Truthful in every word and deed
Highly contented and satisfied

A leader who is in for a change
To do away with all the dead woods
Hangers on national resource
Sucking poor without respite

A leader who treats pen robbers
With the calamity of hurricane
A leader who make life better for all.

Let the sword crossing continues (For You)

Who knows what power is it
The power that forced me to
Reveal this unspoken secret
Concealed deeply inside me
For days and nights uncounted?

I present to you this passionate rhymes
A love-tale wrought in poet's mind
I am not lying, and never will
She was my life, my dream, my hope
A fragrace of love and its petals
She was an endless desire

It is not late to read to you
The book of my endless dreams
I will continue to sing my song
To allow more crossing of swords
For an invaluable prize to be won
Our candles can burn at both ends
Even if they could not last the night

When swords are crossed by all concerned
A giant lion will emerge with a roar
So let the swords cross undisturbed
It is not late for me and her
We are not late, or are we?

Forever (For You)

When I looked at ages of time
Trying to recalls your atmosphere
It adorn my skies
I believed in crossing of the swords
It tells a genuine story
That concealed in a lonely heart
I admired your dangling voice
With its melodious words
That made me enchanted
Soon I will be alive in your heart
Soon my forest will be evergreen
Soon my moon will appears in the space
Its light will shine
Today, tomorrow and forever

I Wonder

I wonder why the supremacy of law
Is subverted by that of lawlessness
I wonder why
The law is used to commit lawlessness
The long hand of law
Can not reach one group not the other
I wonder why the eyes of law
Are blind only when the poor is affected
And wink when the rich is involved
I wonder why democracy
Is not working for the people
When it is made by the people
And claimed to be for the people
I wonder why terms of office
Are too short no matter how long
The tenure extension has become a norm
To give room for "Tazarce"
I wonder why an oil rich country
Becomes an abode of scarcity and inequality
Citizens surviving in poverty amidst plenty
I wonder why we remain in state of indecision
To take the right decision
I wonder, I wonder why I always wonder!

Deadly Intention

We often have deadly intentions
Masterminded by red monkeys
Through malady of ideas
Cleverly, they misguide-
Their hunting dogs, fed with blood
While the fleshes
Reserved for the red monkeys
Without it they are well-nourished
Than those with it in abundance
They do it purely
From secret malice
They dont care
Whether pigeon or tiger
Their aim is to kill
Whether chick or sparrow
Flying falcon is there
Hyena and Jackal
Are all their supporters
How can we out
Of these deadly acts?
Are we not strong
To resist their attacks?
Are we not wise
To challenge their misdeed?
We are conscious
Educated and value-loaded
Let us think over it again
Enough is enough!

Niamey

We yearned to see you
As your sweet perfume spreads
It covered thousand miles.

Here we are Niamey
I smell your real perfume
And discovered its source
The value of your glamour's
Displayed by your sons and daughters
Your history and identity preserved.

(For A)

A day will come that
The curtain will finally be drawn
When I will look through
Your unspoken heart

A day will come
When I will listen to the sound of silence As the water falls with echoes Your lips will sing the song That will cleanse the silence
