The Seeing Ear.

Now and then there is a morning
so beautiful,
It makes you feel that all the world,
and heaven too,
has had a conference..
and voted
To create one perfect thing.
When you have rejoiced
in the splendor all around you,
you close your eyes, the better
To drink in the sounds.
There are not only birds,
Singing and calling from the trees....
There is also music in the grass.
You are afraid to take one step,
for fear that you will tread
Upon some lovely and mysterious sound!

Infidel

When it turns out,
that you're an infidel,
and i'm a true believer........
in things not just heard or said,
but in things felt as well.

What I feel...
is what I say
and what I say...
is what I feel,
plus what I know.

so if the everpresence of my voice scares you,
then the sound of my silence will as well.

Cos it's like telling time what time to tell...
when time always tells what time it is,
and not the time that all men wish.

So, just as I am me and you are you,
yes, this much can be said to be true:
every sad soul seeker will always mourn,
his total eclipse of the sun.
