My Beautiful Stranger

I asked for it I craved for it and it came calling Unexpectedly like the monsoon wind It came my way

I cloaked myslef hoping this wind would blow away Unexpectly it circled my being Captivated my heart without forewarning I never fathomed it being mine I told my heart to wait a bit I told my soul to hold a while I was disappointed to know all my requests were to no avail And now my thoughts are of my stranger

Hot summers days and Cold nights
Daydreaming of the what ifs and the could have beens My stranger lives.......
My beautiful stranger is constanlty on my mind

My lonely heart longs for my stranger
To feel, to hold and much more....
My beautiful stranger
Though my stranger knows not what I feel I know it speaks a different language My beautiful stranger!! My beautiful Stranger

Perplexed by these very thougts
How could I? How can I? Could this be true?
I asked myself why
Why a stranger?

Elusive love, I smell your flowers Morning glory, Hyacinth, Hibiscus and all

Elusive love,
I heard you were real.
I searched for you
But it was to no avail

I see your shadow
I turned around and

I desparately hoped to see you
Like the gentle breeze,

I was hybernated for a few You convinced me to come out and play You promised it'll be good outside You promised to hold my hand

Once upon a time Life was hopeless Happiness was beyond recall Possibilities were thwarted by unknown circumstances My being languished in obscurity Limbo lingo was my constant motto No one could ever ascertain my state

But today I sway my hips
to the tune of a different song
Ask me why and I'll tell you
I've found the love of my life
Contradictions out you go
Wait a minute and I'll tell you

A beautiful day it was
The day I met my heart's desire
The sun shone brightly
The birds cooed like never before
This being was like no other I'd encountered Like no one I could ever envisage He asked for my hand.

I trembled a bit
In a quick instant, I made a change
With certitude, I obliged
My hand touched his

Suddenly I felt a calming aura
I was whole again
Fulfilled, joyous, excited

Perfect Valentine

Another valentine rolls by
The bright morning glory
Rises to the tune of the cock crow
Oh what a day it'll be
Yet I sit alone

I said to myself once more
Another valentine's day is here
Flowers all around me
Brown's dropping flowers
None for me.Did he miss mine?
Where's my goodie bag I said?

I remembered I'm all alone
Prince Charming didn't show up
But wait I mustn't loose hope
The sun's still bright
Night hasn't come
Why hurry?
Maybe he'll show up soon
I wait in anticipation
I hear the ticks and tocks
of my grandfather clock
And he's no where in sight

I scratched my head
Not another lame val's day
No roses, No chocolates
My heart thumps
Not in excitement, I might add
I sit and think
Yet I'm still all alone

Suddenly I hear a voice say
"I'm here, I'm here"
"I've been here all along",
I didn't see a being
I hear this voice once more
Gentle yet strong
My love, I'm here
I've always been

An epiphany hits me
I knew we'd met
I knew I knew him
And he knew me
What was I thinking?
I had a valentine all along
A perfect one at that
We had a talk
A very long talk
He reaffirms his love
I gave him my heart
We're still talking
My Val's day was perfect after all

Ardor´s mystery

I see a reflection of me
in the being called you
I've mapped your soul
And strangely we're yet to meet
I know myself in you,
Yet our paths have never crossed.
Insanity, I think not!

I perceive the ardor's presence
Should I welcome this fervor?
Should I make an abode for it?
Or head straight for the hills?
It's the million dollar question
That needs an answer

I ponder and pause,
