UNFULFILLED
I close my eyes, I see darkness
When I open I see the same, yet
I cannot tell the difference
I cannot sleep, I know not why this
I try, but the ?why? eludes me
It?s so quiet, at least almost
The frogs just croaked louder
The sound of the night seem farther
I listen in on the night watchmen
They are there, I do know
Observing from the darkness
From the shadows, in pairs
Yet my eyes remain open
I wish to talk to them
or maybe something or someone
I wish to fast forward time
I wish for a lot of things
I long for the day to break
I long for the morn
I long to see the beautiful rays
Of the yellow sun
I wish for these, Oh!
Truly for them I'd kill
I'm pissed with the night
As it drags itself still

White Dove
White dove the symbol of peace Up above the sky you fly North and south you pace the sky.
White dove the prophet of peace
Here I am I need your peace
Before my people fall to pieces.
White dove please pace my path
And bring to me your perfect peace
Before my people fall apart.
White dove apostle of peace
Here we are we need your peace
Fly our path the Black folks space.
White dove spread your peace
On every beings on this earth space
To leave as one but not in pieces!

I pledge to Nigeria my country..................
I pledge to Nigeria my country
that was in 1960
when we manage our resourses
good leader are forgotten history
Azikwe, Balewa, Awo and Herbert
they play well their part
to be faithful,loyal and honest
the honesty that cannot be found today
corruption is the dread our nation falls some are stealing from the nation pride fines houses in abuja.
many beggars in the street of Lagos and Port Hcourt patrotism is dying daily..the super eagles used to fly in style that is why my brother said I cannot serve Nigeria with all my strength except for my pocket.
but for me..., I love Nigeria
so I will defend her unity and uphold her honour and glory so help me God....

MY MIRROR IMAGE
You tell me who I am
Though without saying a word
And with my eyes wide open
I listen very intently
You tell me what I look like
How fine or ugly I am
And with the loudness of your silent voice I come to discern how true this is
You care less about my feelings
Always upright and blunt
Cause these I need from you
And always fully appreciate
I will continue to rely on you
As you're always for me
I know my trust you'll never betray
I hope so!

OBUDU RANCH
Very high above the plains
And generously watered by heaven's dew
Lies your lush green spread
The air about you, pure and soothing
Your neighbor, the clouds come to say hello
And below your belly flows 'living water'
I never knew you existed
Let alone being in our territory
And as countless as your visitors are
You turn no one down
The cattle find you irresistible
Because you provide them with fresh pasture
Couples fantasize honeymooning in you
Those that do, say nothing but thank you
And though the path to your dwelling
Is quite winding and frightening
With rocky steeps and heavily vegetated valleys
We still risk it to be with you
Any time I reminiscence your reception
I say to myself, 'this must be that paradise'

STAGE FREIGHT
As his name was announced
It sounded like a never ending echo
Having nowhere to hide
He had to respond, and that he must do
Slowly and with great trembling, he stood
Tottering as he advanced forward
It seemed like an unending journey
But he arrived well exhausted and fainting
Trying to speak, his mouth 'said no'
Heart pounding, his face flooded with sweat
No energy to even stay erect
What a cruel punishment he thought this was
The audience quite irritated, wondered about him
Endlessly waiting for the bamboo zoned fellow
For his address or even a greeting
But none was prepared to come
Oh God, this is too much for me
Am I under a spell?
No my friend, it's your mind
You are overwhelmed with fear
And to overcome, you must evacuate it.

Demands from me on me
as i still remind my heart each time to dice a lonely lad i might be find each claims to lay a goal at a glance each names to aim each favor to ask my mind that each sound should fight my echoing voice it all depends on me i void
i am solitary of a retort mind
i am hamming or so i frown
to make my life worth living forth
it all depends on me to try
to try to do things the right way
it all depends on me
it just depends on me
demands from me on me
my life is worth much living for
my soul it's prize won't find
I push my thought, I'm looking lost
at night i am wondering now
place my goal in front of me
and at every living need
this gun has lost
it's rounding blunt
i breath the sound
