Life
I love to hear you call my name
I hate to see you think of me
When I was sweet you sweat
When I was bitter you bit
Tell if you have not drink of my blood
And swear if truly you never see me
I am neither dark nor pure
You know I am black and white
And my song sounds so sweat
And my lyric embraces your lines
While my voice looks like a crone
You looked and choose names on me
Look to my eye if I have wrong
Raise your hand on my face
And spit on if I were partial
Only if you know what it means
To have you in my life
Is like a song with million meters
That produces regular rhythm on lines
To seduce my love with beauty.

Live, my dream live
My eye come and sees
Dream has stage her drama
And night open to see her scene
When I woke to love her stage in sleep
The dream that drew me dear
Call my name and hear as I clock
My ear come and hears
The tolling of living on a sweet lyric
Spears my night a long sleep
While from deep my sleep runs
And speak so loud like the promising moon
Stretching hand to hold my dream
My hand come and holds
This day is dying so with me
The dead once less dear to me
On this black day was my love
With the moon and dream came visit.
All I have seen from the scene
All I have heard from the lyric
All I have hold from the night
v
My dream and the newborn moon
All in love with my sleep.

Eko oni baje o
ON EKO WATER CROSS
Where we sing our Lagos song
With moluee we dazzled and staffed to beat
And gear rhythm to our solemn song
Cloche modulate us on clack lyrics
There on those mainland wheel cross
Where we love to say the lord’s prayers
And to see moluee creep like shut antelope We sing our Lagos song
Eko o ni baje o
Why do bottle turn your steering
Why does white London change your gear?
Your bar neither Saint. James, Saint Star
Still saint Paraga guttered you so ugly
Nose grunt and grumble to at ease stay
Why did hands despite, drag on you
While on the channel of eko water cross
As you wave lean to dive through
Souls howl and lament to he in heaven
“Our father … hallowed be thy name
Till the storm still we howl
Thereafter the chorus again and again
Eko o ni baje o

Western life
The lives we live and see are once dead
And the past we never see lives
Where our hope are oil in lamb
And the past traveled from ear to ear
Visit white and black to tell of brotherhood
On this dust where dust say all
They never see of the past
The humility of black on brother land
And those chains that chased black
From mother's breast to make blood sweat
Tell me of your past sweat, Africa!
Tell me of your now sweat, Africa!
Tell me of my stepbrother use, Africa!
The past love and the present love
Now their chain that chased no more vow
And, now civilization, white culture vow
Their sea bloom look and satire care seduce
And Africa
Where is the black of your mother?

Home is calling
Earth wears on her face appeal
Altogether, rain drops heavily from eye
My self run over lean of earth
Perhaps eye will go to rest
With hand away as on goodbye
And soul sees all hide behind
And ahead, so take with arm
Reception from home that sings
When, home will I behold you
Singing of your song
As endless as travel seas
In a boiled cursed ocean
Earth merry in noise
In a market filled with trees
Avoiding the call of home
Home of where I use pray
Home of where is calling
Home of where last I live
Home, my Home
When will I see you?
All I love is but you
So come, till gray hair lives....

After the votes
After their seducing moon at noon
And the sun that promised day at night
They have led our youth to street- war
Among our blood, down the road of our country home
Where we lay our right of a state
With words for crown bearing
Coin referee son and father
In our black home of my naija street
In pocket and of a iron-gold
They wear our crown for us
And deny us of our crown-need
Our love was by their prank
And we fell by our eye's love
Call them saints and to plead less
We say let the holy-heaven judge
Perhaps our eye-need bit our pity
And now was no less the sweat
Our falling love heat us to seat
And like a dry plant so our hope

Awake, the moon
Perhaps
At night, like the star
Awake and wait
Through the thick mind of night
Where to find my companion
Unless
I have search with the moon
I have fainted with no souls
In my heart a lonely walk
And as the moon walk on distance
Out in the middle of dark cloud
Like a calling star smile
To meet her groom
Pull off her black garment
You appear, and I can see
And you and I, and the moon
Stood between our lips
Long to reach on tongue
How can I now approach?
The moon close her lonely eye
Weak-kneed arouse her
And here
Was mine a relented lips
When soon as on kiss get drunk
I wondered how
To see your honey lips
That thrills like raining water
From the knoll
Pure was your taste
And yet if the dark cloud trample
Our two shadows died
The black-minded day
Love less and never
We see our shadow of equal heart
I plead
I have the moon
At a pleasant place
So stay my heart
Stay and, you stay
Let the moon see
You on rainbow kisses

We have fear
There is a man here
Kills better than death
Fast and least sympathetic
His home lies inside a man
He is quick and quietly
Seize breath, even all we can
Life under much of subjection
Like the rising and falling
Murdered case of Bola Ige
Unstable all that's around,and
Within man and that lives thereof
Who know him and
Who can tell his tomorrow
Today's faith of next second
Caged in an age of uncertainty

What does it cost
What does it cost to look, sharp and brave
Eye to eye with the rude sun
Share her intensity, the heighten orange eye
Confined in her circuit: share her audacity to spit guilt
To the face of those fate miners who wear innocent as mask
And hire longsuffering to look like pity
What does it cost to spend heart on enthusiasm?
In words up grade this hard currency
Know her values to avoid it falls
Get loan from perseverance, understand these charges
Assault and insult, mess plus menace
Anti-crime still cripple along highways
Wheel machines tumble across boarders
Child goes on exile on wild space
Where vultures hack wisp to hawk father?s pride
Barefoot on fiery soil still trek hearty
On rust pasture, this rod carrying our arm
Has not pastor us in this house
These seat know the mess better than the masses
Thought tells them they have thick cloth
Like the masquerade cover their shame
But these secret are naked like a caught adulterous
Some of this manhood is cut across journal
Ugly but pretty innuendos console the cost of papers
We know the money is too much to spend
And the global break still not over, possibly
The system still relate with us, and
What does it cost to pay off these bills?

Public enemies
Ye! Listen and listen carefully
I do not think they are human
But they have legs and hands
Eyes and ears, nose and mouth
They have conscience, but no caution
To these causes preceding much curses
Their blood is a witness
Each of their words are hungry swords
With madness playing around their long neck
Stretching as long as giraffe with greedy eyes
Into our naked secrecy
Re-enforcing like wounded lion to the tribunal
Like it?s an Elijah?s garment everyone tears a portion
Powers! Powers!! Powers!!!
I know they are public enemies.
