A cry

Listen ...
It is a cry
It breaks my heart
They are the cry of the innocent
A cry with guiltless tears
Could they be crying for help
Look at their pale faces
As they are squizzed into cartons
Dropped in the hands of fate
Along the refuse dumps and city streets
They are found guilty for crime they know not
And there comes the deadly hands of
The early morning cold
And the scorching sun at noon
To comfort them
Look at them!
Stife and lifeless
And their tears leave them with
A map of pain on their cheeks
They never knew love
They never knew laughter
They were only thought to cry
Can't you hear that cry?
It’s another cry
Don’t sit back and shake your head in sympathy
They need you now to show them love
Wip their tears and teach them laughter
Arise now, for there is another cry!
I can hear it
Save the abandoned babies!!!

Our nation

Must we all be kings
Then who will be the kingmaker
Must we all eat from the table
Then who will eat the crumbs
Must we all be dreamers
Then who will be the interpreter
Must we kill ourselves out of greed
Then who will tell the story
Why must people be other peoples foot stool
It is time we think twice
Our nation is falling apart!!
