What do I have to do to create my own poetry gallery?
It's very simple. To have your own personal poetry gallery on
"nigerians.biz", you send an email to "info@nigerians.biz" with some information about yourself, a picture of yourself and your first poem(s). We will create your own poetry gallery as soon as
we have at least two poems. If you have only one poem you can still send it to
us. We will publish it in our occasional writers' page. As soon as you send us
more poems we will create your own personal poetry gallery.
How many poems can I send?
You can send as many as you want, but to have you own personal poetry gallery
you have to send us at least two poems. If you send more than one poem at once we will
publish them individually. Your gallery can be made up of more than one page. Each page contains 10 poems.
How much does it cost to have my own personal poetry gallery?
It's a totally free service.
Are there any restrictions?
There are some restrictions such as:
- The poems have to be written your original work.
- No pornographic or racist poetry.
How do I send a new poem?
You can use our Submit Poem form to send your poem, we will publish it as soon as possible.
What about copyright?
Whenever you send us a poem you give us the permission to publish your poem on "nigerians.biz" in your own personal
gallery. You remain the owner and retain copyright.
What if I want to change or correct (spelling/grammar) an already published poem?
You just send an email to "info@nigerians.biz" with the correction or the part you want to change and we will implement it as soon as possible.
What's the aim of the poetry section?
We want to become a well respected reference regarding Nigerian poetry on the
internet and attract many visitors to the poetry section of our website.
How do I know that my poem is published?
Whenever a new poem is published, a notification e-mail will be
sent to the writer.
What if I send my poem through the "Submit Poem " page?
If you are a new contact and you send a poem through this page
we will only publish it after we have contacted you and confirm some basic information. If you are a registered user we will publish your poem as soon as possible.
How long does my poem remain on the openings page of the "Poem Gallery "??
Your poem will remain on the opening page of the Poem Gallery untill we receive a new poem from you or another writer.
Why do I have to send my picture?
Many readers like associating with the poets.
