My Sincere Prayer
Don’t make a man when I’m still supposed to be a child.
Don’t allow me to be full of myself
When I’m supposed to submit and learn from elderly ones.

Father of Light
Father of Light I pray to thee in the dark days of my life.
Shine your light; make me know what to do
And give me courage to do it.

Convinced yet confused
I heard His word and followed it because I was convinced
He had spoken to me. I waited for the result of my action but not forthcoming.
I got confused and went back to Him that has spoken to me.
He said, “Hold on to your conviction if truly you are.”

To whom it may concern
God is set to bless you today,
Only be set to be blessed of Him forever.

Flowers in the garden
(Bukola Ajayi, Covenant University, Ota)
There are many flowers in the garden of this world,
Some admirable and other not
Out of the admired are plucked by “right” hands,
Some by “wrong” hands, and other left untouched.
But as for you, may you be picked up by “good” hand
And dressed to make the best of home

Friendship
There can be no friendship without confidence
And no confidence without integrity
Get acquainted to the WORD because in it
The POWER of integrity is coded.

My mother
(Oluyemisi Janet Akinwande)
God empowered you mother to be a channel
Through which I found my way from heaven to earth
What a very great privilege to come to the world through you
What a great privilege to come through your world oh mother,
I’m most grateful
You passionately took care of me from cradle unto maturity
Your love for me as an adult gave me
Hindsight to your immeasurable
And unconditional care for me as a child
I’m most grateful
Even after the call of father to the place of rest
You did everything decently possible, leaving the state of convenience for the city of hardship for me to have a paradise of life
Many sleepless nights, laboring to make me it in the society
I’m highly grateful
Hmmm!
I declare with a loud voice and humble heart, by the anointing upon my life
Your world shall be established as long as Christ tarries
You shall be great example of honor of motherhood
You will live to see the fruitfulness of your fruits in wealth and good health
Your heart shall be made glad and joyous
Women shall call you blessed and young ladies shall come to learn from you
And foreigners shall say of you, what a blessed mother
My mother

Why the rush?
(Assembly of Firstborn, University of Ibadan, Nigeria)
Why rush away from His presence
When is yet to finish with you
Why rush away from His presence
When what you think is out there is right here with Him
Why rush away from His feet
When He has so much to tell you
Why rush away from His feet
When right at His feet is mercy and hope
Why rush away from Him to seek solution elsewhere
When He has said He would do it
Why rush away from His to seek help from the outside
When He will give freely and in fullness
Why the complaints
When He said be patient for some time
Why rush to love the world and its pleasure
When He’s madly in love with you
Why the rush,
Take your time
And be cool with Christ.

September four
There will always be any other days for every other person, every year;
But there is only one and unique day for just a person every year
And that’s September four for you
If you are born on this day, celebrate because you are a celebrity.
Happy birthday Josh!

Rainfall; the Earth answered prayers
Whenever rain falls,
It is an answered prayer for the fruitfulness of the earth
The earth buried seeds spring up in freedom
To give expression to their potential
It is the glory of the trees in the forest
That after their death, they live on
It is joy of animals in the jungle
For they have more and fresh food to eat
Only the earth prayed for rain
The seeds buried down in the earth,
The trees of the forest, the animals in the jungle
And more benefited from the earth’s prayer
A word of prayer in faith according to His will from you
Could affect millions just at that point you are standing.
