There are abundant natural resources in the State. Virtually all species of hardwood can be found in the State. High quality timber wood can be found in most of the Local Government Areas especially Oredo, Ovia North East, Ovia South West, Orhionmwon, Uhunmwode, Esan Central, Esan Central, Esan West etc. The State produces a significant proportion of the country's rubber and crepe. Other resources available in the State include Limestone, Marble, Lignite, Clay, Kaolin, Crude Oil, Gold, Granite etc. |
